Without doubt the best cricketer of the modern era, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has recorded all the milestones in cricket’s history book, while many records aren’t worth remembering, they have been attributed to the legend.
Sachin does not chase records, but records chase Sachin is true as this one has also been attributed to the legend’s records though it is not considered to be a record.
Here is another unusual record, held by Sachin Tendulkar. The legendary cricketer, who has represented India in 463 ODIs and scored 18426 runs at an average of 44.83, including 49 centuries and 96 half centuries to his credit, has been awarded the man of the match award 6 times in India’s One-day International losses.
Moreover, has scored a century 13 times in Team India’s ODI losses, including a tie and a no result both against England which has created another superstition amongst admirers, as fans have criticized Tendulkar for being a part of those losses, especially when he scores a hundred.
Here are the 6 occasions when Sachin Tendulkar was awarded the man of the match award for his performance, when India lost to their opponents in ODIs. Interestingly, all were played in the sub-continent.
